About Me 

Hi there! 👋

I'm Mrs. Bennett, your 7th-grade ELA teacher here at Bonny Eagle—and I am so excited to kick off an amazing year with you!

I’ve been lucky enough to call Maine home for the past 14 years. I live in the cozy town of Cornish with my husband, our two lovable pups, and our adorable little boy, Finn (who keeps us laughing and very busy!). Will I annoy you all year with adorable videos and pictures of him? You bet!

When I’m not in the classroom, you can probably find me curled up with a book, painting, binge-watching movies, or soaking up the sunshine outside. I’m also a huge fan of all things Harry Potter (Hufflepuff pride!) and totally obsessed with the Marvel universe—Team Captain America...although Venom is a close second.

This year, we’re going to dive into some incredible books, tackle creative projects, and build unforgettable memories together. We are going to do a low-tech classroom, so get ready to put those iPads away! I can’t wait to get to know each of you and see all the amazing things we’ll do!
